Mercury is our pride and joy as well as one of our future foundation studs. He had a fast paced career finishing his AKC Championship in only four show weekends from the Bred-By Exhibitor class, taking two singles his first show at eight months old then going on to obtain four majors (two 3 point majors and two 5 point majors) . He even went on to get a Terrier Group 3 his first time in the group ring, at only one year and one month old! Mercury also has begun his UKC show career with a blast, as from his first four UKC shows he brought home 75 points including a major! Currently he has 115 points in UKC. He excels in overall conformation, type, has clean and efficient movement, is standard in size and well proportioned. An add on bonus is his unsurpassable temperament. He is a confidant, friendly natured dog that is very outgoing in a any setting with both people and other dogs. His sparkling personality keeps the crowd smiling, and his charm can win over anyone's heart. Later on we hope to begin competing with him in agility and obedience - he has very high potential! We have waited so long for an AmStaff like this to come along, and are so glad we have found him. He is a joy to train, is very attentive and focused, and has become a wonderful obedience and agility dog for us. His pedigree speaks for itself, being a cross of some of the best of the Benmar, White Rock and Ruffian bloodlines known today. We spent quite a few years searching for the right dogs to selectively breed to produce this boy, and are glad we took the time to do so! Mercury is even looking bright as an excellent producer with his first few litters, all which are very promising indeed. He spent a year and a half over in Sweden with our friend Jennie Wickman of Wizage Kennels and became a Swedish Champion at his first show over there. While there he sired two very nice litters to Wizage Kennels, puppies from both litters are showing success in the show ring and with great health testing results.
